It's the most famous mountain bike race venue in North America, and for years Mont Saint-Anne has shown everyone why. A brutally long and difficult downhill course, a fun and spectator-friendly cross-country and an always-interesting head-to-head track make this an ideal setting for international racing. And, with the equally legendary partying to keep the traveling circus satiated, an MSA Triple is always a highlight of any season.

"F**k skinsuits!"
DH winner Steve Peat, offering his opinion on the benefit of skinsuits, such as was worn by round 2 winner Kovarik.

This year didn't disappoint, with an updated DH course to further torture riders, a more-technical XC track full of mud and roots, and a brand-new 4X course with high-flying jumps. The legendary party didn't happen due to the immediacy of next week's race in Vancouver (by the same organizers), but everything else was in place - including the Quebec Alcohol Society as sponsor. MTB paradise.

There were three races this weekend, hence the term "triple" event. We've got the inside line on Saturday's Downhill, Saturday night's Four-Cross, Sunday's Cross-Country and - in true Zoner style - the inside dirt in our Race Notes section. So grab a coffee and stay awhile, because there was a lot of racing!
