This is a gem of a bike shop - the kind of friendly small town feel you won't find elsewhere. The young man named Rob who works there is always knowledgeable and super nice.

I could repeat what the comment below stated. Work promised and not delivered. I got the run around that they were swamped. Owner was extremely rude and used foul language in front of my child. When she complained he said she should have waited outside. I would like to know if he treats men and women differently based on the comments below.

I purchased 2 tires for my son's bike, they were friendly and nice. They quoted me $15.00/tire, when i picked them up they charged me $22/tire. This was odd, i paid anyway. I wanted to purchase a used bike, i left my name and number so the "Owner" could get back to me. 5 weeks later when i called for the 6th time the person on the phone said "The owner said we were too swamped to look at a used bike for you right now, try looking at the mission or call us back in August". Are you kidding me? I already missed 5 weeks of riding with my son already! Customer Service is weak at best. They clearly survive off of huge business with little turn around.

Whites carries only brands that the White family trust. The service department is excellent. Whites can also perform restorations, custom bicycle work, and often find that odd ancient part you need. Imagine an old General Store and that is the feel and the service you get from Whites.

I've bought one bicycle from White's and have had mine in for service several times. In each case, I have had the most friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable service one could expect. It's nice to find a business like White's still operating and treating people as customers that they intend to keep for a long time. They do a good job in an older, downtown location, giving quality service to a wide variety of bikers - from the learner or beginner to the experienced long distance cyclists and trail bike enthusiasts. I personally have tried other bike shops and no one is better than White's at courteous customer service at very good prices.

I have yet to find a LBS that's got the friendly staff that White's has. The owners are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

A little cluttered, but great people, selection and service. Has been my primary shop since I was 12, even after I moved 40 mins away. worth the trip there. Only place I go for service thats out of my hands. All around great shop. Lots of good used stuff too
