I'm no wasatch speed goat
ran with the original wasatch speed goat today. let's just say i'm no karl meltzer - went out on his bread and butter 9 mile, 2,000 ft gain run with him in little cottonwood canyon, sandy ut- awesome trail, beautiful day. ah yeah, he would basically drop me on every big climb, then wait for me, then drop me again.i have a long way to go my friends.. but it's the journey right?
gear tidbit: in case you are curious karl's favorite shoe is the montrail vitesse (that's him on the right of the website), this is his go to shoe. me i'm a continental divide or hardrock guy.

no western states for me. i have a lot of other big plans though. will you be racing western states this year?
No plans for this year - I'm going to get in on one of the training runs this month. I'll be near Auburn on a quasi-vacation...I figured why not.
