paddle stats

today i paddled from nwoc in seattle to st eds park in kenmore, wa and back. wind was with me on the way out and wanted to fight me on the way back. i won. good average heartrate. lifting upper body yesterday bit me in the ass for the first hour as i was having issues with those muscle being sore/tired. oh yeah and i got attacked by a shark!.. on shark week!kayaking duration: 4:06:29

calories burned (by suunto t6 - it's always high): 2,482 calories

Wow that is awesome bro, & that shark picture is great-lol water looks choppy too.,

I pulled a tire for 2 hours for the first time on Sunday, it was a great workout!! Looks like an exercise that is now added to my trainings!

Not sure about Paddling in the ocean even though I see Peeps do it, I am scared of those Sharks and ours don't smile for the camera they just sneak up on ya :-(

wow pulling a tire for two hours?! that is intense. is that because you don't have hills where you live or you want a "different" type of training?

ya cuz of NO hills-- FLAT ASS Florida, so I will be running bridges up & down and pulling a tire as 2 of my additional exercises throughout my summer workouts...

ahhh the price you pay for living by the ocean on the east coast :-)

all this in preparation for my first 50 miler in Sept. Grand Teton Event. Oh Joy!--I think!!
